Privacy Policy

1. General Provisions

This Policy governs the collection, storage and processing of personal data of users of the Qutty Band website and application. Use of the service confirms acceptance of these terms. By registering in the application, the user consents to the collection and processing of their data, its transfer to third parties and its processing outside the Republic of Kazakhstan in the cases described in this Policy.

3. Data Collected

When the band and the application are used, the following data is collected:

• First name, last name, phone number, email
• Sex, date of birth, height, weight
• Health indicators: heart rate, heart rate variability (HRV), stress, blood pressure, blood oxygen
• Sleep and activity data
• Workouts, including the route of an outdoor workout: geolocation is used to record the route
• Food diary: meal entries, photos of dishes and product labels, barcodes, calories and protein, fat and carbohydrates, water intake
• Blood test results uploaded by the user
• Women's health data: menstrual cycle, symptoms, mood
• Answers to daily questions about well-being and habits
• Apple Health data (on iPhone, if the user has granted access): steps, heart rate, HRV, sleep, workouts. The application may also write this data to Apple Health
• Game progress
• Technical information about the use of the website and the application

4. Purposes of Processing

Data is processed for the purposes of:

• Providing access to the functionality
• Calculating individual parameters
• Improving the quality of the service and analytics
• Sending verification codes, order notifications and push notifications
• Informing about updates

5. Product Specifics

The band and the application are not medical devices and are not intended for diagnosis or treatment. This applies to all features of the application, including blood test interpretation, recommendations, sleep and readiness scores, and the women's health section. The data and conclusions are for reference only. Cycle predictions are not a method of contraception. Always consult a doctor on health matters.

5.1. Processing of Photos and Files

Photos of dishes, product labels and blood test forms that the user sends to the application are transferred to recognition services, including artificial intelligence services. Photos from the food diary may be stored on our servers. Photos and files of blood test forms are not stored: after recognition, only the values of the indicators are stored.

6. Data Storage and Protection

• Data is stored on a secure server in the Republic of Kazakhstan
• Data is stored for as long as the user's account exists
• Access is restricted to authorized employees
• Modern encryption is used

7. Transfer of Data to Third Parties

To operate the service, we engage third-party companies and services: hosting, delivery of SMS and messenger messages, push notifications, payment acceptance, artificial intelligence services, analytics and crash diagnostics. They receive the data necessary to perform their tasks. The set of such companies and services may change. Some of them are located outside the Republic of Kazakhstan, so data may be processed abroad.

In addition, data is transferred to third parties in cases provided for by law.

7.1. Transfer of Data to Partners

We may grant our Partners access to users' data, for example to the organization through which the user purchased the band or registered in the application. A Partner has access only to the data of its own users. Consent may be withdrawn by sending a request to quttyband@gmail.com.

7.2. Access for Close People

The user may personally grant another Qutty Band user access to their data (the "Close people" feature): choose the data categories, the period and the duration of access. The recipient sees only the selected categories; the owner's phone number is not disclosed to them. Access can be revoked in the application at any time, after which the recipient no longer sees the data.

8. User Rights

The user has the right to:

• Request a copy of their data
• Demand correction or deletion
• Withdraw consent to processing

Following a request, data is deleted within 30 calendar days.

In addition, in the application the user can:

• Delete individual entries: meals, workouts, cycle and symptom entries, blood tests, the history of daily questions
• View the devices on which the account is signed in and end sessions on them
• Close access granted to close people
• Disable access to Apple Health, geolocation and the camera in the phone settings

9. Cookies and Analytics

The website and the application use their own analytics and may use third-party services for analytics, advertising performance measurement and crash diagnostics. Such services may use cookies, pixels and similar technologies and receive information about visits and actions: browser or device identifier, pages and screens viewed, events, UTM tags. The set of services may change. The user can clear cookies and website data in the browser settings.

10. Liability of the Parties

Qutty Band is not liable for information leaks caused by third parties or for improper use of the device.

11. Changes to the Policy

The Company reserves the right to make changes. The current version is available at band.qutty.net.
